A Royal Albert Old Country Roses part service, to include; six dinner plates, six salad plates, six side plates, six dessert bowls, six finger bowls, six teacups and saucers, six coffee cups an saucers, a teapot and cover on stand, a coffee pot and cover, six soup bowls and stands, two serving dishes and covers, a two-tiered cake stand, a sauce boat and stand, a butter dish, two pepperettes, two milk jugs, two condiment pots, two condiment bowls, three assorted serving dishes, and six assorted pieces of cutlery, together with a further assortment of Royal Albert Old Country Roses wares, including a biscuit barrel, 28cm high, two telephones, tallest 20cm high, a 1996 calendar plate, 27cm diameter, a pair of dwarf candlesticks, 5cm high, an urn and cover, 14cm high, four assorted vases measuring between 16.5cm and 24.5cm, and an assortment of figurines and trinket dishes, and a further selection of tableware by Duchess and Spode (Qty) CONDITION REPORT:Most pieces show minor fine surface scratching and minor rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks or losses.  Some pieces show small purple stains to the underside. One bowl shows a factory glazed crack to the exterior.  The jardiniere shows extensive repairs.  A scallop shaped salt shows a chip to the rim and a fork shows a hairline crack to the ceramic handle.

William Moorcroft (1872-1945), a Moonlit Blue pattern ceramic vase, c.1925, signed W Moorcroft in green, impressed Moorcroft Made in England, with indistinct three impressed numbers,The oviform with everted neck tube-lined with stylised trees, coloured and glazed,25 cm high There is a hairline on the underside of the foot rim that has just crept into the side of the vase. Crazing to the glaze. The occasional speck inclusion and bubble in the glaze but this is from the making process. Light natural wear.

Keith Murray (British/New Zealander 1892-1981), a Wedgwood ceramic green globular vase, 1930s, faint Keith Murray and Wedgwood marks to base,The globular vase horizontally ribbed and glazed in a matt green; together with a Keith Murray for Wedgwood vase of inverted conical form, ribbed and covered with a straw coloured glaze, printed 'KM Wedgwood Made in England B,23.5 cm and 13.8 cm high respectively (2) Green: inside of the neck rim is discoloured - and to inside of base. Crazing to the glaze. The mark is very faint.Straw: stains and old marks to the interior. A small chip and two nicks on the neck rim. Natural wear to underside of base.

Keith Murray (British/New Zealander 1892-1981), a Wedgwood ceramic vase, 1930s, printed facsimile Keith Murray signature and Wedgwood Made in England,The tapered shouldered form with horizontal bands, (restored),28.2 cm highThe vase is restored on the neck - shows a darker colour where the restoration is. There is crazing and dirt evident in the bottom of the vase - along with some dirt and marks. There is some grazing to the glaze on the very edge of the neck rim and a small chip. Some small chips and nicks to the underside of the foot rim.

Some glaze blemishes to the rim. Wear to centre of dish and underside of foot.bigger leaf and fruit vase: some crazing to the glaze. Dirt to the interior. Wear to base.

A large English porcelain blue and white sauceboat, c.1770-80, attributed to Wirksworth, painted to each side with differing Chinese riverscapes, the interior with a floral arrangement and three sprays to the rim, the exterior rim moulded with basketweave, 19.7cm. Provenance: the Bernard Watney Collection; the Godden Reference Collection. Illustrated: Geoffrey A Godden, English Blue and White Porcelain, pp.548-549, where the author describes the sauceboat as a "problem" and attributes it to Wirksworth or perhaps Church Gresley. A paper label to the underside states "still a tease". Exhibited: English Ceramic Circle Exhibition, 2006, no. 80.

Barry Sutton, Free Spirit, 2008,patinated solid cast bronze,signed, dated, and numbered in the cast 3/25,length 59cm, depth 15cm, height 34cm.Footnote: Barry Sutton studied sculpture at Leicester in the 1970s and went on to become head of model making and taxidermy at London's Natural History Museum. His modelling and interest in anatomy have naturally led him to produce bronze and ceramic sculptures for commercial sale, as well as work in animatronic modelling for television and film productions.
