POLYCHROME NAL WARE CERAMIC POTIndus Valley, Pakistan, Nal culture (around 3100-2700 BCE). A biconical ceramic pot with polychrome geometric frieze of concentric circles and lines to the body. Dark-brown, red and yellow paint still visible. The pot was wheel-made which is characteristic only for fine wares. BLACK GANDHARAN VESSELGandhara region, c. 3rd BC-2nd cent. Black burnished ceramic narrow-waisted vessel (possibly a jug) on a small foot is made from clay and decorated with concentric slim bulges running horizontally around the vessel. Found at Pushkalavati, the first capital of Gandhara region.Condition: Fine condition with traces of age and use, small abrasion and original internal patina. A 19th century antique Victorian ceramic George Jones sardine dish / box. The ceramic dish of a rectangular form with cross fish / sardines motifs to the lid, blue interior and waved basked pattern to the outside along with original mathong plate. Both having having Victorian impressed marks to the underside. Measures: Plate- 4.5cm tall x 24cm wide x 18cm deep. Dish: 9cm tall x 15cm wide x 13cm deep. Condition: Good condition overall, no major damage just a small chip to the on the one of sardine tail.

The vases of baluster form with foliate finial to the lid, floral and birds decoration to the centre and yellows foliate border to the outside. A M blue mark to the underside along with a pair of empire style vases with a scalloped rim, waisted neck, twin scrolled handles raised on splayed base decorated with gild Chinese motifs and animals.
