A VICTORIAN INLAID BURR WALNUT FOLDOVER CARD TABLE, CIRCA 1870 the rectangular quarter-veneered swivelling top with rounded ends, opening to reveal a rouge baize playing surface, supported on four fluted legs issuing from a base with bell-flower carved downswept legs, moving on ceramic castors. 74cm high, 95cm wide, 46.5cm deep (closed)The top is in poor condition with an attempted repair to an area of loss in one corner. The top opens and closes well. The table moves well on the castors. Losses to the banding on the frieze. Structurally sound and no sign of worm.
