A VERY LARGE CERAMIC FIGURAL STICKSTAND naturalistically modelled as a cockerel standing by a sheath of corn, 71cm high Condition Report : a restoration project! smashed in many places, but would have been an impressive piece. some losses around the wheat sheath, but the bird itself, although extensively smashed, is largely all there. First blended by Matthew Gloag & Son in 1896, as of 2013, it has been the highest selling brand of whisky in Scotland since 1980. One is the Centenary Decanter in Wade porcelain, celebrating 100 years of Famous Grouse and gilded with 24 carat gold. The second is Famous Grouse in Wade Porcelain, decorated with 24 carat gold.
