A late 19th century German porcelain oil lamp by Ernst, Bohne & Sohne decorated with monkeys. The reserve decorated with a continuous band of monkeys, the stem with three three-dimensional monkeys climbing on a blue and white tree. Impressed marks EBS 2262 and underglaze blue anchor to base. Topped with a pale blue glass shade. Total H50cm. Condition Report: The shade is overall in good condition with no obvious cracks or breakages. The overall structure is dusty and would benefit from a clean. Large screw in the base of the lamp and there appears to be a 'plugged' one at the bottom of the reservoir, suggesting it may have previously been altered into a lamp. The brass fitting attached to the base of the reservoir has possibly been re-glued on. Some chips to the foliage on the ceramic stand however the monkeys are overall in good condition, one has a hairline crack to a foot, one has a possible chip to the tail that has been overpainted. Some slight areas of rubbing to the gilt. Signs of general wear including scratches and rubbing consistent with age and usage however it is overall in good condition.

A White Glazed Two-Handled Ceramic Milk Pail, Early 20th Century, the body moulded with six bands, with black transfer printed 'Pure Milk' with cows in landscape image, 13ins diameter x 9.25ins high, indistinct impressed mark and 'F' to base, and an unmatched domed cover The milk pail appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration save a miniscule flake chip to the glaze on the outer edge of the rim directly above the letter 'P'The unmatched domed brass cover is 15.25ins diameter, the cover shows signs of having been previously tinned although this is now only visible at the hinge area on the outside and around the inside of the lid. The hinge works well and appears to be original, however the lid is a little 'wobbly' when opening.
