THE FIRST BREITLING 'King Charles III Coronation RaSP' TO APPEAR ON THE OPEN MARKET FOR SALE - BREITLING - a rare limited edition stainless steel SuperOcean 42 'King Charles III Coronation RaSP' automatic bracelet watch, made for the Royalty & Specialist Protection Unit, ref A173754A1C1A1, date purchased 12th June 2024, blue dial with King Charles III Crowned Cypher, luminous baton hour markers, silvered outer minute divisions, luminous polished hands, sweep centre seconds hand, blue ceramic calibrated bezel insert with presentation engraving on caseback 'King Charles III Coronation, 6th May 2023', the personal warrant number, limited edition no. 72/189, on Breitling brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with signed folding clasp, serial no. 6868645, 26 jewel movement with calibre Breitling 17, case width 42mm, working order, boxed with papers, and 3 RaSP Challenge coins: 1x RaSP, 1x King Charles III Coronation and 1x Queen's Coronation.Notes: This watch was specially made in a limited edition of 189 pieces for the Royalty & Specialist Protection Unit and commemorates King Charles III Coronation in 2023. The first batch of RaSP watches have only just been released to the Unit and this is the first to ever appear on the open market for sale. The Unit provides close protection to the members of the Royal Family, Government Ministers including the Prime Minister and visiting Heads of State. The watch is in unworn condition with stickers still attached to the bracelet and caseback.

They are found in Chinese porcelain both as figures and as painted decoration. A life-size seated ceramic figure of a 'Lohan' is in the British Museum.
