A Victorian burr walnut card table, on a carved column and four downswept legs, 86 cm wide Condition report Report by GHGenerally scratched and worn, particularly to the top when the table is not unfolded. Some cracked veneer around the frieze and a split to the wood on the right hand front side of the piece visible when the table is unfolded. Baize has been replaced and is in good condition.All four ceramic castors present. Generally very solid.Overall good condition in need of a small amount of work.

Lenses generally grubby. Gilt brass rubbed and with a little loss. Mother of pearl with some chips. Generally well worn and used.

Three Border Fine Art ceramic figures of horses, "Champion of Champions", no.136, "Champion Shire Horse in Bay", no.145 (both with certificates of authenticity) and "Suffolk Punch in Card Harness" (3). CONDITION REPORT: Chips and damage to the ears of the brown horses. Headdress of the grey horse is damaged. Tack replaced. Cost to post to mainland UK is £22.50 plus VAT.
A group of various ceramic vases including a pair of Losol Ware octagonal baluster floral decorated examples, a Marie Graves 'Dragonfly & Fairy' ovoid example, a Crown Devon lustre glazed vase, a further larger 'Chelsea' example and a pair of Noritake vases (10). CONDITION REPORT: Noritake: damage to handles. All items have surface scratches throughout and rubbing to the gilding.
A late 19th century French gilt metal eight day mantel clock surmounted with two cast birds, wreath and torchère above circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals and Arabic second markers, with two ceramic floral hand painted plaques to the front within cast foliate scroll decoration, the drum movement stamped S.Marti et Cie, no.793, width 29cm, with key and pendulum, also a base metal cherubic decorated trinket box with glass lid (2). CONDITION REPORT: Hairline crack and chips to dial. Rubbing to gilding on the porcelain plaques. general wear to the case.
A Chinese porcelain yuhuchunping vase, painted in underglaze blue with two five clawed dragons amongst clouds with floral decorated border, bearing painted six character mark to base, height 31cm. Formerly with 'Oriental Ceramic Society Exhibition Label' dated 1947 (or 49) to base.Provenance: from a local private family collection. CONDITION REPORT: Some natural pitting flaws to the body of the vase and very light surface wear however it is free from chips, cracks and restoration. Originally there was a paper label to the base which the vendor removed before presenting it for auction although we do have a photograph showing it attached to the vase. We are unsure of the age however we can advise that it has been with the current vendor for over 50 years.
A Chinese Song Dynasty ceramic shaped circular bowl with incised decoration to the interior, with painted character marks to base, diameter 17.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some fritting to the rim and staining to edges of the bowl. pitting and surface scratches to the glaze. Foot rim has a very small chip and has a rough finish.
A Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907) polychromed ceramic figure of caparisoned horse on rectangular base, height 37cm, length 38cm (af).With a report of thermoluminescence authenticity test from a City University of Hong Kong Co, indicating that the figure was last fired approx 1180 years ago. CONDITION REPORT: The tail has been broken off and reglued at its base, losses to some of the edges of the base, particularly to one corner, extensive losses and flaking to the paint, the fringe, right ear and details of the ornamental band to the neck have been broken off and reglued. A loss to left ear and to tips of the chest decoration, general wear and dirt commensurate with age.
A Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907) polychromed ceramic figure of a warrior on square base, height 26cm and a further similar figure of a noble, height 27cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Both figures have surface wear. The figure of the warrior has areas of flaking tot he paint and possible area of restoration to his neck. Some chips around the edges. The figure of a noble has got overall major losses to the paint and he is missing an item held in his right hand. Some surface wear and dirt with minor losses throughout.
A late 18th/early 19th century Chinese Provincial ceramic tapering ribbed vase, height 15cm, a similar bowl painted in underglaze blue with floral and foliate sprays and with scratched character mark to the centre, diameter 16cm, a shallow bowl and a brown glazed squat baluster vase (af) (4).
A Chinese late Ming Provincial ceramic baluster jar with turquoise glazed footed and mould scroll decorated upper body, unmarked, height 14cm including a later turned zitan cover. CONDITION REPORT: A few tiny foot rim chips, crazing throughout, otherwise appears good with no further obvious faults, damage or restoration.
Three early 20th century Japanese netsukes comprising two ivory rabbits seated above baskets holding carrots, with character marks to base, a man seated upon stylised fish, height 4.5cm and a carved hardwood wasp, also a small carved hardwood box modelled as a dog with a string, a figure of a mouse carrying two baskets (af), two further carvings and a ceramic figure of a seated man (7).
19th Century Royal Dux Polychrome Ceramic Art Deco Figural Lamp. Depicts a Victorian beauty with basket bracing against a putti relief column. Signed with markers mark on underside.
