Jaguar - an original 20th century Jaguar issued ' 57 Collection ' ceramic tea service. Comprising of x4 cups and their accompanying saucers in a variety of colours. Made by Jaguar to issue to special customers or with certain new purchases. Undamaged, housed in its original presentation box.

Gramigna, F. Irace, Osvaldo Borsani, Rome, 1992, p. 185 (similar example illustrated); G. Bosoni, Osvaldo Borsani architetto, designer, imprenditore, Milan, 2018, p. 223 (examples illustrated in Borsani's villa in Varedo). Borsani used firedogs of this design in two projects. The first was in his own villa in Varedo (1943-45), where he positioned them in the grand ceramic fireplace by Lucio Fontana (1948), and the other was Casa Casò (1947-48), an apartment in Milan.
