Ceramic vessel placed on three small rounded feet. It has a flat body with a circular plan, adorned by a succession of small dots in relief arranged in the lower area, followed by a central horizontal ribbing and two small curved handles arranged on the shoulders. Above these emerges a narrow neck, with a concave profile, which ends in a slightly thickened rim. The body is decorated with a rich “flambé” glaze in raspberry tones with bluish and purple spots. The neck and handles show instead a faint cream-toned glaze with small reddish stains. With six-character incised seal on the base “大清乾隆年制”. A beautiful vase with a circular mouth and a flaring neck that tapers slightly in the centre and expands at the shoulders, followed by an oval body resting on a wide circular foot. Moulded with four horizontal ribs, two at the neck and two at the shoulders. The exterior, with the exception of the base, is decorated with a rich raspberry-coloured ‘flambé’ glaze with light blue and purple flecks, which becomes thinner at the rim, revealing the creamy ochre colour of the ceramic. The interior shows an intense milky-blue colour with lavender-coloured streaks. Stamped on the base with ‘大清雍正年制’.Height: 30 cm
Brass cage with a small bird inside, adorned with fine feathers and arranged next to thin branches of green leaves, which has an internal mechanism that simulates the song of the bird. The base, circular, is supported by four elongated feet, and is adorned with scrolls in relief and set blue stones. Crowning the cage, a small glazed ceramic applique with floral motifs. A ceramic vase, decorated with a light, fine glaze of a soft celadon hue with white and cobalt-blue relief decoration on top. It has a narrow circular mouth that descends into an elongated neck and rests on a globular body. It is covered with a faint celadon-toned glaze that is thinner at the rim, revealing the white ceramic underneath. The body and neck are decorated with a beautiful leafy landscape in relief, executed in white and cobalt-blue, showing a large central rock, thin bamboo branches, large chrysanthemum flowers and a large central branch, which rises up to the neck of the vase and on which rests an outstretched-winged bird. On the back of the vase are two beautiful butterflies in full flight. Glazed ceramic “Gē yáo” of grayish hue covered by an irregular two-color crackle. The shape is completely rounded in the body, and narrows at the neck, rising conically and opening like petals, following the natural shape of a pomegranate. The ceramic rests on a circular bronze base, which rests on three beautiful feet decorated with spirals. The mouth is covered by a fixed lid, also made of bronze, which delicately imitates the shape of a pomegranate blossom. The 哥窯 (Geyao) kiln was one of the most recognized throughout the history of Chinese ceramics. The glazed ware known as “Gē yáo” belongs to the celadon category, but can range from shades of gray through cream. The most distinctive feature is the elegant crackle that covers the object. This ceramic vase is decorated with a light, celadon-coloured glaze on which a large scene in white and cobalt-blue tones stands out. It has a wide circular mouth that descends into an elongated neck, widening at the shoulders in the shape of an hourglass. The neck is adorned by two handles on the sides, in the shape of an elephant with a curled trunk. The rounded body rests on a circular foot. On the front face is a low-relief depiction of a scene set in a traditional Chinese garden, showing two nobles with their attendants and a wise old man observing what is happening. Above the scene, at shoulder height, is the sky, adorned with ‘ruyi’ clouds, and above this, arranged on the neck of the vase, two deities float on clouds. Small porcelain fairy tale with ‘斗彩’ decoration. The rounded body widens slightly at the mouth and rests on a short foot. Both parts are decorated with a thin rim of embossed silver, and the mouth is decorated with fine lines and successive scrolls. The body, made of white ceramic, is decorated with fine decorations in soft underglaze blue and yellow, green and red enamels arranged over the glaze. These glazes show delicate intertwining branches with lotus blossoms in full bloom and a narrow decorative border at the foot. Stamped on the base with ‘大清雍正年制’.Doucai or ‘斗彩’ is a technique used in Chinese ceramic decoration since the early 15th century, characterised by underglaze blue outlines, which are then filled with beautiful decorative glazes. Ceramic vase with a circular base and a balustraded profile, standing on a flared foot. The body, slightly rounded, is decorated, at the level of the belly, by three horizontal ribs arranged in succession, and narrows progressively towards the neck, also decorated with two fine ribs in relief, to end in a flared mouth. The entire surface is covered by a thick cherry-toned flambé glaze with subtle purple and light blue stains more visible on the base, neck and mouth. The interior is also completely glazed with a beautiful milky blue color, where subtle purple stains stand out. A small ceramic censer with underglaze cobalt-blue decoration. It has a rounded body that is set on three elongated feet crowned by a cut neck followed by an everted rim. It is decorated with two decorative bands of different sizes, one on the body and the other on the neck, which are divided by double blue lines. On the body there is a diffuse image of two elongated dragons together with decorative elements. Height: 7.5 cm; Mouth diameter: 7.3 cm
Polychrome glazed ceramic vase with later adaptation to a lamp. It has a circular base and a narrow foot that grows to the height of the shoulders; these are narrowed towards the neck, generating a flared form, where two lateral handles are arranged in the form of a lion's head foo holding a mobile washer in its jaws. The neck and shoulders are profusely decorated with superimposed horizontal borders, of diverse thickness and motifs such as banana leaves, auspicious characters, flowers, bats and leaf scrolls. The belly houses a continuous battle scene, with horsemen, archers and men carrying banners. Three bands in relief are arranged on the neck, body and base, enamelled in brown tone imitating bronze applications. Height: 51 cm; Base diameter: 16 cm; Total height: 75 cm
Beautiful figurine of “Guanyin” made of ceramic modeled and glazed in a brilliant white. It shows the deity in hieratic position, with serene expression, closed eyes and closed mouth drawing a subtle smile. The hair, made in a meticulous way, is completely gathered in a high bun adorned by a traditional headdress. A long tunic covers her body, down to her feet, revealing part of her chest, from which hangs a fine beaded pendant. The hands, decorated with a bracelet on each wrist, are flexed at the level of the belly, carrying in one of them, a ruyi scepter. On the reverse, at the level of the shoulder blades, is a four-character seal “博及渔人”. Height: 31 cmWeight: 1080 g
Large fired ceramic tile with a concave and elongated shape, covered with a rich green glaze. At the top, it depicts a foo lion, an animal frequently represented in Chinese culture, with an erect and firm posture. The head, covered by a luxuriant mane formed by small scrolls, shows an intense expression, with large open eyes looking straight ahead, wide muzzle and closed mouth from which emerge two sharp fangs. The body, adorned with incised details, shows the hind legs bent and the front legs stretched and straight, looking straight ahead. The tail covers part of the back, pointing upwards.The glossy glaze extends across the piece without reaching the inside of the piece, revealing the characteristic ochre color of the pottery at the base, where an ancient label is attached. The body, which stands on a flared foot, has the form of a deep bowl and is decorated with two horizontal ribs arranged at the height of the shoulders, which gradually narrow to form an elongated neck, on which rest two beautiful handles ending in scrolls, ending in a thin turned mouth. The surface is decorated with a rich “flambé” glaze of intense raspberry color with purple and sky blue spots that becomes thinner in the mouth and handles, revealing the ocher and creamy color of the ceramic. The interior shows a milky light blue color with lavender veins. On the base it shows a six-character incised seal “大清乾隆年制”. A 20th century Chinese fire screen with ceramic panel depicting two figures and bird, height 74cm, width 59cm, depth 25cm.Condition Report: The porcelain panel with a chip to the back of one of the bottom corners, this is not visible in the wood frame. Minor wear to enamels and edges. wood frame with sun fading and light wear. The moulding to the stand which supports the frame has cracks to three of the four sections. The ceramic panel is 33cm x 22.5cm. Small loss to the corner of the main rectangular frame. The back panel supporting the frame is loose (small losses at wood locks) and is held into place by tape.
