Nancy Angus (b. 1958), a group of five coiled ceramic vases, approx. 40cm high, each on a polished metal column, 100cm high. Provenance: British Rail Property Board, Hamilton House, Appold Street, London. . Nancy Angus lives and works in Brighton, UK, and makes individually ceramic hand-built pots and vessels. The surfaces of her pots are painted with slips to create a dry quality, which is reminiscent of frescoes or tomb paintings.
