A mixed lot of pharmaceutical interest, including two ceramic pestle and mortars, four wooden cased syringes, glass eyebath with rubber bulb, two glass pestle and mortars (one lacking pestle), twelve assorted spatulas, horn scoop, two ear caps, cased ampules, Braille labels etc. Part of the collection of the late WA Jackson, author of The Victorian Chemist & Druggist.

An early 20th Century French mantel clock, with enamelled arabic dial, gilt metal urn design to centre, the movement stamped `FOT DTÉ`, flanking an anchor in a shield, `91246`, contained in a cobalt blue circular ceramic case with gilt metal scrolling mount and finial, raised on four scrolling legs and sun motif, 17in. high.
An album of `Photographs 1915-1919 England, India & Mesopotamia`, comprising 60 pages of small scale images taken of Hampshire Regiment interest , by W. G. Langrish, following the soldiers as they leave England on board T.S. Ceramic to Malta then the Suez Canal resulting in duties in India and the North West Frontier, returning home on S.S. Cleaned restored appearance overall, with some fading, minor stains, lacking depth of colour. Some possible replacement blocks. Otherwise appears tidy overall
A late Victorian oak extending D-end dining table, circa 1880, bearing label for S.J Waring & Sons, with three additional leaves, the top with moulded edge, on a base with plain frieze and turned legs and ceramic castors, 75cm high, the top 120cm diameter closed, the additional leaves 44cm, 45cm, 29cm wide respectively, fully extended approximately 120 x 238cm overall
JESSIE MARION KING (Scottish 1875-1949) Sisters pencil on vellum 22.5cm x 13.5cm Note : Jessie M King (1875-1949) was one of the most commercially successful designers and illustrators to emerge from Glasgow at the end of the 19th century. King worked in many media, but won international recognition for her book illustrations, producing images for more than 200 over a period of 50 years. At the same time, she was making and selling greetings cards, bookplates, paintings, glazed ceramics, batik textiles, as well as designs for fabrics, children`s furniture, silver, enamelwork and jewellery. Jessie M King was born in Bearsden, Glasgow, and studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1892 to 1899. Between 1899 and 1907, she taught courses in book and ceramic decoration at the School, inspiring the next generation of students. In 1920 she and her husband Ernest Archibald Taylor, also a designer and artist, moved their private art school from Paris to Kircudbright in south-west Scotland, and the couple lived and worked there for the rest of their lives.
A Victorian walnut Davenport, with a pierced brass gallery to a later leather lined fall, the right side fitted a pull-out and hinged ink compartment above four graduated drawers, on ceramic castors, 32.75in (83cm) h, 22.25in (56.2cm) w, 22.25in (56.3cm) d. Cracks, one handle missing, one loose.
