A pair of 20th century Chinese ceramic table lamp bases. Cylinder vases decorated with chickens raised on hardwood stands. H30cm Condition Report: Overall in good-very good condition. There is a very small hairline crack beside one of the chickens. The colours are bright, some signs of minor wear including rubbing and light scratches consistent with age and usage. The top and base of one of the vases is not fully secure. No obvious restoration.

There is a drill hole to the underside for the light fitting part and this is "worn" around the hole. There is a small glazed firing line to the centre of the underside of the base - in the making. French Faience pottery mantel clock, in the style of Theodore Deck, late 19th century, the body in the style of an Eastern Moon flask with beast mask handles, with shell surmount, circular enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, circular drum movement striking a bell, unidentified pottery marks stamped JVC, model 672, 39cm.Condition report:Both loop handles have been previously broken and restored but the restoration has aged and now requires being "re-repaired". Some glaze chips to the masks, and the tips of the beards are broken off. Other minor chipping to the teeth. Minor shallow chips to the shell and edges of the plinth top. No other evident chips or damage to the ceramic case. Movement appears to work and strike.
