Three hen on nest egg cruets, one ware and another glass and one glass with metal top. Largest length 14 cm, height 14 cm.There is a firing blemish on the small darker hen and very light wear to both ceramic hens on nests. The larger hen on nest has a glass base which is in good condition with no chips or cracks, overall. This is a clean lot.
A Herculaneum George IV Coronation pottery medal. diameter 7.5 cm, together with another and a Queen Victoria alphabet plate. Diameter 18 cm.The Herculaneum medal is impressed Herculaneum to the rear. The rear of the piece is in good condition. The outside blue edge when viewed from the top has four small losses. The oak leaves and acorns are all in good order. The centre puce panel is also in good condition. The ceramic material is some form of Cream Ware. The accompanying medal with the two hanging holes above the crown is in poor condition, there are numerous losses and piece has been broken into several pieces which should be clear from our image. The Victoria Regina plate is allover crazed and generally discoloured. Whilst there are no chips there is a firing mark to the left of the date which again should be clearly visible in our image.

Britain in the Blitz Contents of the Anderson Shelter The contents of the Anderson Shelter comprising a mother & her daughter, both in period costume, the mother holding a baby, a baby gas mask, 2 civilian gas masks in a box & a pouch, ARP first aid pouch, various childrens' books & toys & "The Black-Out Book" by Evelyn August, an HMV hand-wind Gramophone, Bush DAC-90 bakelite valve radio, glass battery, alloy thermos flask, various food packaging, 2 Bovril & an Oxo ceramic cups, a spirit stove & copper kettle, Brixton meths burner, a Sunny Jim doll, hanging oil lamp, enamel bowl & potty, goldfish bowl, coloured bakelite string holder, candle holders & a wicker linen basket. Anderson shelter not included, that being lot 1374.This tableau shows a wartime scene and the items on view are not all new. We judge them to be in good condition, although worm in a wooden crate was noted.

Some chips, knocks, and losses to moulding throughout with some minor repairs and replacements. One piece of moulding a little loose. General knocks, wear, and fading to supports. Joints are sound and solid. Casters wheel freely. Overall, it appears in fair usable order with general wear consistent with age and use.
