Measures approx; 71cm x 127cm x 19cm when closed (each leaf approx 43cm).

A Very Large Floor Standing Cabinet of Microscope Slides, and slides,The cabinet, English, c.1900, unsigned with two double glazed doors opening to reveal four banks of fifty drawers, each capable of holding four rows of thirteen slides, giving a total potential capacity of five thousand two hundred slides, each drawer with ceramic label and ebony pull, with locks and keys, a later removable plinth, dimensions (cm) 70 x 83 x 42 The cabinet currently holds approximately one thousand one hundred slides, the slides cover a large range of subjects by many different makers
21 Club Advertising cigar ashtray by Hall with metal Jockey in red and yellow racing colours and cap in the centre of a ceramic tray with gold painted ridges to hold the cigars. To the centre is a raised match holder with a gold-painted '21' to the middle. Also included is a black cardboard case of matches from 'Orsinis' NY. Ashtray diameter 23cm (9in).The 21 Club was a famous bar and ex-prohibition speakeasy in New York and recently closed during the pandemic. The exterior staircase was adorned with numerous jockey statues and the interior has an eclectic collection of items suspended from the ceiling. The wine cellar held the private collections of many famous people over the ages including John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Marilyn Monroe.Condition report: The ashtray is incomplete as the jockey would usually be holding a couple of birds (pelicans) in his left hand. The jockey has lost some paint and is loosely attached to the base.
Italian Zaccagnini brown earthenware ceramic lamp, bulbous form with brass foot and neck with large black and gold shade. painted 'Zaccagnini' mark to base with code 'L1534. Excluding shade 32cm diameter, 45cm high. Including shade 50cm diameter, 67cm high.Condition report: The lamp itself is in good condition, the earthenware ceramic body is in good condition and the base has no damage. The brass areas of the lamp have signs of age with some surface scratching and the brass has lost its colour, whitening in areas of the foot and the top of the base. The shade has warped in areas and the black vinyl is loose in one section. Also, the join is starting to become loose. (please see all additional images)
