Gzhel pottery cat and child with horse figurines, Hoganas (Sweden) stoneware flask and a porcelain figurine depicting a jay, etc. - sold with a souvenir model of The Atomium, Brussels and a 1958 Brussels Expo clock
A Victorian Imari patterned biscuit barrel, a salt glazed jug and a hand painted oval planter decorated with birds and branches, together with an aesthetic movement biscuit barrel, etc. CONDITION REPORT: The aesthetic bird barrel has no lid. The Imari patterned biscuit barrel has a lid. IT is structurally intact. No visible cracks or damage. There is wear to the lid with slight chips and also wear to the decoration in many places. The other ceramic items are also in used condition. The tureen has numerous chips to its lid. The body of the tureen is intact with no cracks, hairline cracks or damage. The other items include a stoneware jug very much in used condition with staining and ingrained dirt. The cachepot is structurally sound but with signs of use.
A Victorian cranberry glass perfume bottle, with floral engraved white metal top, together with three further perfume bottles. Largest 12.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The double ended scent bottle with the foliate engraved caps is in generally good order. There are minor nibbles to the sharp edges of the glass but no significant issues. The sprung lid operates as it should. There should probably be a glass stopper which is not present. The other side simply screws off to a cork lining. The second faceted scent bottle is missing the sprung lid. The other side is missing the small glass stopper beneath the silver screw cap. There is a chip to the top edge of one facet and other very minor nibbles. The egg shaped scent bottle is in generally good order. The top snaps shut as it should. The interior glass stopper is missing and there are nibbles around the top of the flask only visible with the lid open. The brasswork is a little tarnished. The main body of the piece is in generally good order with no significant issues. The ceramic flask is in generally good order with no issues other than minor rubbing to the gilding.
A Victorian inlaid walnut Canterbury, with fretwork front and raised on turned legs terminating in brass and ceramic castors. Height 96 cm, width 64 cm, depth 43.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The Canterbury is structurally sound and in generally very good order. The handles are undamaged. The top is flat with good colour and patination and no losses to the veneers or inlay. The side supports are both in good condition. The fretwork to either side of the Canterbury is in good order. All spindles are in good condition. The frieze drawer runs smoothly. The legs and castors are original and in good order. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
