Diameter 10 ¾ in. Examples include the 'America', built for the London Exhibition of 1851, established the 'America Cup'. the 'Columbia', built in 1773, which in 1787 was the first vessel to carry the Stars and Stripes around the world, the 'Union', build in 1794, the sole sloop to have circumnavigated the world and the 'President', a U.S.S. Naval 44-gun frigate built in 1800.
