λ Nancy Angus (b. 1958), a group of five coiled ceramic vases, each approximately 40cm high, and on a polished metal column, 100cm high.Provenance: Previously British Rail Property Board, Hamilton House, Appold Street, London. Nancy Angus lives and works in Brighton, UK, and makes individually ceramic hand-built pots and vessels. The surfaces of her pots are painted with slips to create a dry quality, which is reminiscent of frescoes or tomb paintings. She has completed a number of public and private commissions and regularly exhibits in the UK.
