Condition Report: A chip to the rim of the Worcester tea bowl, other items in generally good condition with wear commensurate with ate.

1st-20th century AD. A quantity of metal-detector and other finds including a bronze bell, a toy cannon, thimbles, a military cap badge, spur fragments, a pastry-cutter wheel, a miniature ladle, Jews' harps, furniture fittings, a Roman(?) iron knife hilt with bronze inlay, a frog playing a banjo figure, a ceramic pipe bowl, buckle loops, a toy watch face and other items. 1.4 kg total, 18-94mm (3/4 - 3 3/4"). Found UK. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
Qajar Dynasty, 1794-1925 AD. A rectangular white-glazed ceramic tile with polychrome glazed design; the central motif an elliptical frame in yellow with blue foliage enclosing a seated bearded figure with a staff, robed and capped, with smaller attendant behind holding a fan, executed in brown glaze with sun before the seated figure bearing a short calligraphic text; to the surround, fruit, vines and leaves in red, blue, green and brown. 7 kg, 49 cm (19 1/4"). Property of a London collector, acquired early 1960s. Tiles such as this were produced in the Iranian city of Shiraz. The scene shows an Achaemenid ruler seated on a throne with an attendant standing behind and holding a fan over the king's head. The fashion for tiles displaying Achaemenid scenes occurred mostly in the late 19th century when there was a revival of interest in the past as archaeologists were uncovering a large number of ancient sites with important art work. Fine condition, restored.
An undated archaistic green-glazed ceramic vase with flared base, bulbous body, deep shoulder, ribbed neck and socket rim; the shoulder and upper body with ovoid appliqués, the body with roundel appliqués in geometric arrangements; strap appliqués to the shoulder with vertical bands. 1.2 kg, 26 cm (10 1/4"). Ex South East London collection; acquired in the late 1990s. Fine condition; base chipped.
