Matteo Thun for Swatch `Chandelier`, 1992, GZ125, a limited edition Swatch watch, with Murano glass bead decoration and packaged in the form of a champagne bottle, the watch 23 cm long, the box 33cm long. The Italian designer Matteo Thun is the creator of `Chandelier` and he also created other designs such as `Rara Avis`, `Montebello` and `Milano` for Swatch in 1991. Since 1982 he has taught design in Vienna, and created designs in varying mediums including glass, metal and ceramic. He has also designed for WWF, Tiffany & Co., Campari and Illy, alongside designing the interiors for the Swatch shops in Paris, London, Munich and Milan.
A pine 19th century housekeeper's cupboard, the upper section with moulded cornice over three, panelled doors, the base with two tiers of three, graduated drawers, width 180cm, height 207cm. Condition Report: Both side panels are unpolished, as though the piece fitted into an alcove. There is a 1" section of moulding missing from the bottom of the cornice. One lock plate missing together with two ceramic handles broken.
An Edwardian rosewood fold over top ladies writing/games desk, the inlaid and hinged rectangular top centrally with an oval cartouche folds over to reveal a baize lined card playing surface, over a central drawer flanked either side by double small pen drawers, set on four square taper legs terminating in ceramic castors, 77cm (w) by 45cm (d) by 74cm (h), top closed
