A small selection of mostly late 19th / early 20th century ceramic pugs to include an opposing pair of Meissen porcelain examples with blue crossed swords marks to their undersides (7) The Auctioneer states the items come privately from a deceased Estate and although rather dirty on close inspection no cracks, chips or restorations are noted. Please see several images including the underside to corroborate, there are also three other dogs within the lot. One standing four square has had had his right leg on and off (please see close-up image), the seated pug is dirty and the tip of the tail is away and not present. The standing begging pug is dirty and exhibiting an approx. 1cm hairline from the base rising up the top to the left-hand side of the tail (please see several images etc.)

RARE VICTORIAN CHILD'S CARRIAGE - HORSES an unusual late Victorian child's carriage, with a painted wooden and metal frame and wicker seat with leather strap to hold a child in. With two painted wooden horses on the front which move up and down as it's pushed along, and with a ceramic handle and wicker umbrella holder on the back. With the remains of a makers label, difficult to read. 99.5cms high, 110cms long from front to back wheel.
A collection of dolls for restoration, including a wax head shoulder example with blonde pigtails, inset blue glass eyes, contemporary dress with lacework detail and painted ceramic legs, length 37cm (af), a small Heubach example on rocking chair with clockwork action (af), numerous bisque-headed examples with manufacturers including Armand Marseilles, Schoenau & Hoffmeister etc (several af), mid 20th century celluloid examples (several af), some loose limbs and accessories (several af).Additional InformationNumerous items in this lot af, as stated, damage includes cracks to heads, the clockwork Schoenau example missing the right eye with further heavy wear throughout, lost and or heavily worn wigs and numerous scuffs and abrasions throughout. Clockwork aspect of the chair upon which the Schoenau is seated will also need attention. Numerous dolls have lost and or replaced limbs and torsos, heavy general wear to all of these with damage to some of those extant, staining and discolouration to outfits where applicable, further general wear to these outfits. All items sold as seen. This is a repair and restoration lot, no returns will be accepted on account of damage to items within this lot.
