A 19th century Copeland Parian ware wall bracket in Classical-style and signed to the reverse 'Ceramic Crystal Palace Art Union' (19cm high)The piece is noted to be dirty and there are several marks on the top as expected commensurate with age; the cherub's face is also dirty and has marks on it which the Auctioneer thinks will probably clean off. Looking at it from the front, the right-hand side where the bracket starts from the wall has a 1/2/inch square chip and also there is a chip to the front edge of the left-hand side (please see close-up images); the back of the piece also looks dirty and would benefit from a clean; the rest of the piece looks to be in reasonable order with no further chips, damage or restorations noted. It has an impressed mark Copeland underneath the Applied Art Union plaque ( please see images to corroborate report)

Liberty Of London - A pair of early 20th Century Chinese ceramic hand painted tiles retailed by Liberty & Co London. Both tiles depicting Chinese elders with one stood reading a scroll and the other seated. Both set within oak frames with gilt bands and Blue velvet boards. The vendors father worked for Liberty's and Co and acquired them from the store. Each measures within frame 23cm x 23cm. Tiles measures 13cm x 13cm.
