An early 20th Century hand painted ceramic dish by May Wilson (Glasgow), 27 x 12.5 cm [Identified under Glasgow School of Art's student records, May Wilson is noted as having attended between 1892-1893, from the age of fourteen. Little information is detailed of 'Glasgow Girl' May Wilson, just that she lived at Huntly Gardens in the West End and that her father was a factor, suggesting she came from a fairly well-off background.]

Glass scent bottle, some flaking to the black ground borders.Amber netsuke with slight ear chips. Two bottles lacking stoppers.No obvious major damages.
A Collection of Thirty Eight Various Glass and Ceramic Match Strikers, including thirteen with silver mounts, six incorporating ashtray bases, two Royal Doulton Golfing Series Ware, two Doulton Lambeth stoneware and two ceramic printed with The Absent Minded Beggar - a Gentleman in Kharki, also a glass rabbit jelly mouldFive coloured glass strikers free from cracks and major chips. Some very minor edge nicks. Ceramic strikers mostly with crazing. Silver mounts with dents and creasing. No obvious heavy damage, some wear and edge chips throughout.
A famille rose armorial shallow soup dish with central arms of The East India Company above the motto 'Auspicio Regis et Senatus Angliae', 24.5 cm diameter, Qianlong/Jiaqing [old crack]; together with a glazed ceramic figure of The Bodhidharma Daruma stretching and yawning during his Nine Year Meditation [possibly for use as an ash tray], 6 cm high; a Japanese Imari rectangular dish decorated with a Scholar on a verandah, ersatz Jiajing six-character mark on the base, 20.5 cm wide; and a quantity of Asian or other ceramics, mostly blue and white, but including an oval tureen and cover, decorated with an orange carp [lot]Figures of Daruma used as ashtrays are known. See for instance the Netsuke by Ryukosai Jugyoku [Bonhams/Lot 127/9-11-2010/Edward Wrangham Collection].

There are some holes in the sculpture, including one at either side of the rank badge.
