A model of a Bremen twin cylinder hot air engine, built by the late Mr Brian Marshall of Chichester, the engine is similar in design to a live steam horizontal mill engine, with twin spoked flywheels, balanced crank with guides and brass oiler cups, the twin cylinders have gas fired ceramic burners and the cylinders are water cooled with pipework linked to vertical radiator with a cooling fan for show purposes only, mounted on a hardwood plinth measuring 28cm x 18cm, 16cm high overall.

Chinese porcelain blue and white snuff bottle and stopper decorated with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl, on oval foot, four character mark to base, 6.5cm high, PROVENANCE: The vendor's father joined the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation in the late 1940's. He was posted to predominantly Far Eastern countries which included Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. He started collecting items of Chinese origin during the 60's and 70's. The vendor's mother worked in Shanghai in the early 1950's and had an interest in snuff bottles and between them they collected items which interested them both. Some scratches to the body and some firing faults. Stopper is horn cork and ceramic.
A mid 19th century ceramic tea service painted with floral sprays on a gilt heightened ground, comprising teapot, sucrier and cover, jug, eleven saucers, ten cups and ten side plates. CONDITION REPORT: Five side plates have a hairline crack. There is a crack to the lid of the sucrier and one crack to one cup.
A large Beswick pink and white textured pot with a relief design of scrolling foliage, height 22cm (handle af), a large ceramic wine jug decorated with vines and grapes, and a Manor character jug in the form of a town crier, height 16cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: There is a crack through the handle of the Beswick jug and surface dirt which should be removable. The wine jug has three or four small chips to paint. The character jug is in good condition.
