Van Briggle Art Pottery, Colorado, USA. Group of two studio pottery ceramic vases. One light blue "Lorelei" figural vase incised along the bottom with "D.R." for Dorothy Ruff, a finisher known to have completed pieces in the late 1980s through 2003. Dated 1984 along the underside and marked with the Van Briggle mark. The red vase with floral motifs incised along the bottom with the Van Briggle mark as well as "Van Briggle Colo. Spgs." Warren Mackenzie (American, 1924-2018). Studio pottery ceramic tripod bowl set on three rounded legs. Stoneware with brown glossy glaze. Warren MacKenzie was a renowned Minnesota studio potter. A student of Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, he is credited with bringing the functional Mingei tradition to the United States, and spreading it through his own art and mentorship of students during his long tenure at the University of Minnesota. Group of seven Boch Freres Keramis ceramic vases. Each stamped along the bottom. Additional markings on three vases: the tallest vase is marked along the bottom with "D.957 Ch. Catteau," the small yellow vase is marked with "L. Louviere Belgique D.746 Ch. Catteau," and the bulbous form cream, pink, and brown decorated vase is marked along the bottom with "D.1099." Height ranges from 8 in to 12 1/4 in. Diameter ranges from 4 1/2 in to 8 1/2 in.
Kada and Akemi Kimura (Japanese, 20th century). Studio ceramic pottery beer can, 1985. Incised signature along the lower edge. Produced at the Tanegashima Chamber at the Takigama Kiln at St. John's University, Minnesota. Master potter Kada Kimura and Akemi Kimura had a one year residency at St. John's University where they produced a number of these studio pottery beer cans, which were left at bus stops throughout the city. A small collection of Oriental items to include a 19th century Dehua -style ginger jar with associated 19th century wooden cover, height including cover 18cm, a small white and yellow metal statue of an Indian goddess, height 13.5cm, a cast iron Chinese beaten teapot of small proportions, height 8cm and two 20th century Chinese ceramic perfume/snuff bottles with erotic decoration, to include one with diamond pierced sides with cylindrical column turned by the top, with erotic scenes (5). CONDITION REPORT Age-related wear to ginger jar, in the form of some surface scratches, some firing flaws, no obvious signs of restoration. The metal teapot has no obvious signs of repair. The deity has no obvious signs of damage or repair. No obvious signs of damage or repair to the bottles.

CONDITION REPORT Some of the water buffalo ceramics have damage, one has had one of its legs broken and replaced, another had a broken hoof and crack to the leg, etc.
A Victorian oak Sutherland drop-leaf occasional table, with wrythen twist columns to acanthus leaf carved outswept supports united by a wrythen twist stretcher, raised on ceramic castors, height 70cm, length when extended 105cm, depth 91cm, and a nest of three occasional tables with lyre supports (2). CONDITION REPORT On the Sutherland drop-leaf table, one of the gate legs is missing a castor, otherwise in solid but used condition.
A Victorian mahogany wind-out dining table, the moulded top above a plain frieze with moulded edge, raised on turned reeded baluster supports capped with ceramic castors, with two additional leaves, 239cm long fully extended x 119.5cm wide x 75cm high.Condition report: One half of the top is completely split. Both halves significantly scratched and marked. Additional leaves also scratched and marked but to a lesser degree. Section of edge moulding missing from one leaf. Section of frieze moulding missing on one side. Section of frieze moulding replaced to the other side. Frieze and supports fair with some marks, dents, scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use. Two of the castor caps are loose and need re-fixing.
