Florence Barlow for Doulton Lambeth, a stoneware oil lamp base, with panels of pate-sur-pate garden birds, incised borders, with ornate gilt metal mounts, raised on three hoof feet, marks obscured, overall height 45cmCondition report:The ceramic body is in good condition, no chips or damages. It is signed by Florence adjacent to one of the birds. The patina of the mounts is heavily worn. Some of the original gilt finish remains to the base section but only traces. Good quality casting.
A rare Wedgwood pottery oil lamp, Art Nouveau style, the base formed as a displaying peacock to both sides, with clear glass funnel (no shade), height overall 60cm.Condition report:Overall in good condition although there is some chipping to one of the corners of the steps to the base (see extra close up photos). Some of the burgundy glaze is flaking to the lower right hand side of one of the peacocks; and the glaze banding to the steps is also a little patchy. All over fine crazing. No restoration to the ceramic. Oil lamp fitments are well attached and fit together well. The glass funnel is ok.

A little movement in one back and one front leg, with evidence of old repair using screws. General knocks, small chips and losses to supports. Overall could do with a little cosmetic refreshment, but fairly structurally sound and ready for use.

Including a Bakelite tobacco stand, a 'Guinness' penguin and a Wedgwood ceramic penguin Condition Report: Guinness penguin with paint flecking and discolouration around its neck. Discolouration and marks visible elsewhere on the Guinness penguin. Ceramic Goebel penguin has a large chip on one of its feet. Penguin lid is lacking one eye. One ashtray has a crack through the centre. Penguin on tobacco stand lacking an eye and arm.
