A late 19th/early 20th century oak country house letter box timepiece, the blue and white ceramic dial with eight day movement above a brass letter flap and mirror panelled door (no key) and a base drawer on chamfered and turned legs, height 48cm.Additional InformationTwo of the finials are broken off to both back corners. The blue ceramic dial and movement are loose and do not stay in position, no key for the movement and we cannot guarantee the movement is in full working order. There is no key for the door. There are probably some mounts lacking to the upper areas of each upright. General tarnishing to the brass letter box flap and general age wear throughout. Despite faults overall appearance fair.
