Qashqa’i horse cover, warp-faced plainweave ground with weft wrapping, Fars, south west Persia, early 20th century, 5ft. 10in. x 5ft. 2in. 1.78m. x 1.78m. The tassels to the lower end now replaced with blue ceramic beads. Two equal widths joined vertically; repairs and holes in places. Published, Housego, Jenny. A Majolica game pie tureen and cover with inner ceramic liner, the tureen of oval form with basket weave sides set with oak branch handles, raised on four branch feet and the cover decorated with a hare and waterbirds on a bed of ferns, stamped to base "Minton", approx length 40cm. CONDITION REPORT Crazing and minor paint loss to all components. Liner has significant damage- a large chip, cracks and restoration etc. The dish itself has some chips to the feet.

Also three collectors model miniatures of WWII aircraft and two commemorative ceramic RAF plates.
