A Chinese side table, with ceramic top stamped to one end, the base fitted with two drawers and all raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Height 82 cm, width 97 cm, depth 44.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is flat and not warped. It is a uniform colour. The top has numerous old ring marks and stains as one would expect. The crossbanded edge is in good condition all round but has some repairs. The frieze is in good order all round with only minor edge nibbles. The interior of the table top is in generally good condition. The legs are all in good order. We can see only very minor traces of old woodworm in the soft wood carcass underneath. This appears long gone and in our opinion is not problematic. The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is flat and not warped. It is a uniform colour.
