THE TYDD ST MARY DOLLS HOUSE; a mid-19th century painted pine dolls house, originally owned by the Kilham Family of Wisbech, with original interior wallpapers, two original fireplaces and a group of the original furniture and furnishings, including ceramic lustre glazed cup and saucer, pair of mirrors, bed, tables, chairs, sofa, etc, several of these pieces bearing the names or initials of the children. The Kilham Family lived at Tilney Hall, Manor House and The Grange in Tydd St Mary.

Bretby white jardinière has crazing and minor chipping to glaze.

Additional InformationThe mounts have been regilded, not tested, no guarantee of working order, some relatively minor chips and nibbles to the alabaster, there is no backplate covering the movement to the reverse, the fabric of the stand somewhat tired, also the border and gilding fairly worn.
