IWO RYNKIEWICZ, (KOBRON) (POLISH b 1970), KID FEATURING HEART a ceramic sculpture 26cm high Note: Iwo Rynkiewicz aka Kobron is a Polish artist, co-founder of the ”Kobron” Creative Group, known for his slightly alternative and yet unique ceramic sculptures. Kobron was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1970. In the beginning of his career, Iwo was dedicated to painting, but in 1994 he definitely abandoned it to pursue the pure form in ceramic sculpture. Besides ceramics, he could not give up on prints, very dark humored, playing with pop art and those darkest fears one can have while thinking about humanity. BRETT KERN (AMERICAN CONTEMPORARY), T-REX ceramic approx 20cm high Note: Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Brett Kern began his higher education at California University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2003 as a Graphic Design Major. However, one year into college, after discovering a love for clay, Brett decided to switch his focus to ceramics. In the autumn of 2007 Brett studied overseas as part of the WVU/Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute exchange program in Jingdezhen, PRC. In 2010 Brett received his Masters of Fine Arts from WVU. While maintaining his teaching career in the USA, Brett continues to show nationally and regionally. He is renowned world wide for his inflatable ceramic dinosaurs which sell out whenever they are available. Approximate retail value £200 Generously donated by Brett Kern.
