Frank Shenton (20th Century) - 'Hartshead', watercolour, inscribed verso, approx. 36x52cm, mounted and framed, together with a Frank Shenton lithograph 'Luzley Moor, Mossley', approx. 36x52cm, mounted and framed (2) NB Frank Shenton exhibited at the Royal Academy, London. Shenton taught art at Tameside College, and sadly passed away at the age of 79 on April 30th 1999, after thirty years of teaching night classes at the college. Shenton's watercolour of Ashton War Memorial was adopted by Manchester Museum in 1991.

Lithograph Print of `The Colonel` Framed Print – originally painted by H. Hall, with `The Colonel` Winner of the Liverpool Grand National steeple chase in 1869 and 1870, ridden by George Stevens, framed and glazed, overall 90 x 75cm. Note: `The Colonel` won the Grand National in 1869 and 1870. He was bred in Shropshire, West Midlands and trained by a farmer in Bishops Castle. His jockey George Stevens won the Grand National 5 times, a record that still stands today
