§ Edwin La Dell, ARA, RBA, ARCA (British, 1914-1970) Welsh Guards with their Irish Wolfhound in the City of London signed lower right "Edwin La Dell" lithograph 46 x 33cm (18 x 13in) A former head of printmaking at the Royal Academy, La Dell was instrumental in raising the profile of printmaking as an art form. A littel browning around the mount but fine.
§ Le Corbusier (French, 1887-1965) Totem signed lower left within the print "Le Corbusier 18/10/63" lithograph 72 x 80cm (28 x 31in) Provenance: The Heidi Weber Galerie, Zurich, Switzerland. From the collection of Peter Inskip, MBE. Charles Edouard Jeanneret, better known as 'Le Corbusier', was a world-renowned Swiss painter, designer and architect, and a pioneer of urban planning, as well as the author of the seminal 'Five Points of Architecture'. In an old box frame and with dirt under the glass. Colours are good.
§ Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985) "Esther" from the Bible Series lithograph, 1960 34 x 24cm (13 x 9in) Marc Chagall created the first 65 etchings for The Bible series between 1931 and 1939, and a further 40 between 1952 and 1956, creating 105 etchings in total, illustrating themes throughout the Bible. Condition appears fine.
Julian Trevelyan, RA (British, 1910-1988) Harbour signed within the print "Julian Trevelyan '46" and "SP9" a lithographic print in colours, a School Print, printed in England at the Baynard Press for School Prints Ltd., London 48 x 75cm (19 x 29in) Julian Trevelyan taught at Chelsea (1950-55) and at the Royal College of Art (1955-63), becoming Head of Etching. Besides some mural work, he was a prolific printmaker and illustrator, and he became a Royal Academician in 1987. "Harbour" was the first lithograph that Trevelyan made.
After Alan Lowndes (1921-1978), "The Organ Grinder", signed and numbered 58/100 in pencil in the margin, published in 1972, lithograph, 19.5 x 20.5cm.; 7.75 x 8in. Provenance: To be sold on the instructions of the Executors of the late Mr William Turner. Artists' Resale Right ("droit de suite") may apply to this lot.

To be in England now that April's There (Robert Browning)", signed in pencil in the margin, with Snaffles' bits blindstamp, unframed, colour lithograph, image size 32 x 54cm.; 12.75 x 21.25in (2).
Items relating to Lindbergh’s first solo crossing of the Atlantic, 1927, comprising: folding menu printed in black and yellow for “Luncheon offered by the American Club of Paris to Capt Charles A. Lindbergh at the Hotel Ambassador on May 24th 1927” including “Bombe glacée Lindbergh”, with top of the globe and details of flight route, on the front is a lithograph of Lindbergh’s plane Spirit of St Louis, the Eiffel Tower and searchlights and on the back the plane flying over the Atlantic; a small card with autograph of “Charles A Lindbergh”; an etching of the plane in a blaze of light; 2 etchings of French walled towns; all the artwork is signed by the artist A.C.Webb.
