A very fine set. This issue with no dates on title-pages. "With the possible exception of Lord Lilford's Birds, this is the finest and most complete atlas of portraits of British avifauna (with their eggs) ever published", Wood p.462. This set comes with an early 20th century auction catalogue loosely inserted from its original purchase.
