Provenance Jamie Hunter-Blair, Blairquhan, Maybole, Ayrshire This series of hand coloured prints were produced for the Central Liquor Control Board, between 1915-1918, both to decorate pubs and canteens but also as an attempt to educate and control the burgeoning drinking habits of the Edwardians. They reflect many of Voysey`s traditional imagery and are said to have been hand coloured by Voysey himself.
