This issue with no dates on title-pages. “With the possible exception of Lord Lilford`s Birds this is the finest and most complete atlas of portraits of British avifauna (with their eggs) ever published” Wood p.462.

A 19th Century lithograph with later colour, published by Thomas McLean, `I begin to have an Idea that this Tandem Driving is not Altogether free form Danger` (Study of Two Fashionable Gentleman having an Accident), together with a collection of twenty-four prints after Alken with the theme of `Ideas`, contained within a box retailed by Ronson & Co of Hanover Street W1.
* Bristol Boxkite. An original colour lithograph titled Bristol Biplanes [with] the Aviator’s Tetard & Jullerot flying over the Avon Gorge, 1910, lithograph in muted colours of green, brown, and blue with white highlights, showing the Clifton Suspension Bridge and two boxkites above, a little spotted and faded, 84 x 42cm, framed and glazed. One hundred years ago on 14th November 1910 the aviators Maurice Tetard and Henri Jullerot gave the first public demonstration of the Bristol Boxkite in Bristol on the Downs. (1)
