Gordon Giltrap (British, b.1948) - 'Fear of the Dark' pencil signed limited edition lithograph with foil blocking, number 56/195, circa 2005, approx 48x48cm, inset stylish contemporary silvered and ebonised frame NB: Gordon Giltrap is best known as a guitarist and composer in 1977 his album 'Perilless Journey' was named one of the best albums of 77 by the Sunday Times, it peaked in the UK album charts at number 29, and a single taken from the album 'Heartsong' received extensive air play and reached number 21 in the UK singles chart, the track was later used as signature tune of the BBC TV series 'Holiday'. Henri Hayden, French 1883-1970- "Red and Blue Teapot (Théière rouge et bleu)"; lithograph on wove, signed and dated 1968 in pencil, 51x66cm., (unframed) (may be subject to Droit de Suite) CONDITION REPORT: unframed has been rolled the reverse is grubby with small remnants of tape marks in two areas there are various areas of vertical creases throughout the image possibly a result of it being rolled most noticeable in the left margin 3cm from the printed image edge this crease runs vertically through the paper there is also a crease visible in the printed image approx 7cm in length 1cm into the printed image near the tea cup, a vertical crease approximated 8cm in length next to the tea pot spout and one further vertical crease approx 7cm in length by the handle the edition number has been rubbed out but can still be read "45/75" overall in fair condition
