Original horizontal format lithograph, mounted but unframed, sheet size (partly obscured by the mount, particularly the lower margin, which conceals part of the title) 17¾ x 35½-inches (45 x 90cm). A good impression, but some surface damage and staining, notably in the top left-hand area of sky. Together with another unframed lithographic aeronautical print from 1909 by the artist in the same size and format: Les Dirigeables PARCEVAL et GROSS en manoeuvre a Cologne, with good colour but with a repaired vertical tear in the sky. Also, another mounted but unframed lithographic print of similar size and format by H. L. Roowy of War Preparations, 1914, depicting an early French airship above a port and harbour, with Dreadnoughts at dusk, good colour, but with some surface scratches. (3)

An unusual horizontal format lithograph from 1909 with a surprisingly dreamlike quality, mounted but unframed, image size within the mount 14 x 30¼-inches (36 x 77cm). Good condition, but possibly a little faded. Together with another horizontal format framed and glazed lithographic print by the same artist from 1910, untitled, but depicting a biplane over a broad landscape and what appears to be a distant view of Paris on the horizon. Image size within the frame 15½ x 32½-inches (39½ x 83cm). A few slight surface blemishes and with some fading. (2)
