Deutscher Maler von romantisierenden Landschaften, diversen Haustieren, Genreszenen, Tierbildern, alpinen Landschaften. Auch Lithograph und Aquarellist. Motiv: Ein Schäfer im Gespräch mit einer vorbeikommenden Feldarbeiterin. Hinter der Schar der Schafe im Hintergrund ein Bauer beim Pflügen des Ackers. Auf einer von dichtem Wald bestandenen Anhöhe eine idyllische Burg unter sommerlichem Himmel. Öl auf Leinwand, unten links signiert und datiert „Rob. Eberle 1839“, ca. 31 x 41 cm, craqueliert, in goldfarbenem, wohl originalem Rahmen.
