Vibrant image of a narrow alley busy with market stalls, a donkey laden with goods and people going about their daily business. Larache (also El Araich; Arabic: ???????; Berber: Le?rayec or A?rich: the attic or shed) is an important harbour town in the region of Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima in northern Morocco. The town was probably founded by the Banu Arous tribe, who gave it the name Araich Beni Arous. Lithograph printed by S. Dura.-Valencia. Good condition, creasing, small paper losses on corners.
