Alan Stones (1947-), "Yoke", signed, titled and numbered 181/200 in pencil in the margin, dated 1989, original colour lithograph, image size 47 x 48.5cm.; 18.5 x 19in. * "Yoke" depicts two rams tethered together. This practice was carried out more commonly by farmers in the nineteenth century both to stop the tups from charging at each other and to regulate lambing. H R GIGER NECRONOM V LITHOGRAPH - a limited edition lithograph from H R Giger, who was the inspiration behind the Ridley Scott film 'Alien'. The lithograph is part of a limited edition of 300 printed in 1996 from the original artwork dating from 1976. Frame measures approximately 47.5" x 35". Signed by H R Giger in silver pen.
1921: Arthur Griffith, Sir John Lavery lithograph print, signed by both. Framed, signed in lower margin by both artist and sitters. Printed by Wilson Hartnell & Co. Publishers, Dublin. 20 by 16.50in. (50.8 by 41.9cm) This and a similar print of Lavery's portrait of Michael Collins were sold in a limited edition (quantity unknown but believed to be less than 100) to raise funds for Sinn Féin. About 20 examples of each have been recorded in auctions over the past two decades.
1971 Micheál Ó Nualláin cartoon of Archbishop McQuaid running a family planning clinic. A cartoon of McQuaid, a white coat and stethoscope over his Archbishop's soutane, calling "Next Please!" into a waiting room full of pregnant women. Colour lithograph of cartoon published in Dublin Opinion. 14 by 20in. (35.6 by 50.8cm) Micheál Ó Nualláin (1928-2016) was the younger brother of Brian O'Nolan, who wrote under the pseudonyms of Flann O'Briain and Myles na gCopaleen. A graduate of the National College of Art he was a school inspector for art studies, a portrait painter and caricaturist. His portrait of his brother Brian was used on an Irish postage stamp.

An unusual French relief work diorama, c.1915, depicting a pair of quail and their chicks in a landscape, including hand coloured lithograph and natural grass elements, raised above a black background, oval, handwritten label verso 'Cailles et leurs Petits', printed label below for Maison Parquet, 95 Boulevard de Sebastopol, Paris', 12¾ x 15¾in. (32.5 x 40cm.).
