Lenght of neck ribbon included.WB S. 146f. 87 x 61 mm, 58,2 g.Very rare decoration, that was awarded during World War 1 only 38 times. Of fine quality, and perfect example of the high quality, the juwelers of Dresden where producing during World War 1. Even though the orders chancellory ordered them to save money wherever possible. Due to the many fakes, that where put in circulation of this order, we explicitly refer on the originality of this particular piece, that is here on offer.Condition: I-II

The 3. class on offer was founded as late as 1913 by a change of statutes and was only awarded in 78 pieces. Of great rarity, especially with the matching award case.Condition: I-II

Saxonian KingdomCarola Medal, in gold, miniature.Gold, die-cutter M.B. (Max Barduleck), on womens bow.Ø 16 mm, 3,1 g m.B.The golden Carola Medal was awarded between 1892-1915 only in 46 pieces. The miniature on offer is an official piece, that was made by the Dresden Mint. The dies for it where made by die-cutter Barduleck, and they are today stored at the Coin-cabinett in Dresden. The medal in its miniature model is listed under no. 143 in the following book: Max Barduleck. Die letzten Jahre der Münze in Dresden, Werksverzeichnis 1865 bis 1911, hrsg. by Dr. Paul Arnold, director of the Coin-cabinett of the federal art-collection Dresden. Very rare.Condition: I

* Otto Schubert (1892-1970) Village fete with numerous figures merrymaking signed Schubert bottom left oil on canvas 102 x 120cm. Otto Schubert (1892-1970): Born in Dresden where he studied 1906-1909. Became a set painter for five years at the Dresden theatre, returning to art studies and print making. After WWI he began print making and joined the Dresden Secessionist Movement. As with most German Modernists his work was declared `degenerate` by the Nazis; the majority being destroyed.
A Davenport stone china tureen base, early 19th Century, printed and coloured with flamingos amidst chinoiserie flowers, the rectangular body with lions head handles, underglaze blue mark to base, together with an English porcelain polychrome floral decorated meat platter, blue printed mark `Britannicus Dresden China` to reverse, a pottery footed circular bowl, a New Hall Boumier Ware oval dish and a cheese dish cover in the form of a cow`s head (minor faults).
A MEISSEN PORCELAIN LIDDED JUG having a domed circular lift off cover with floral finial, ovoid body with moulded basket weave border, moulded spout and entwined foliate side handle, the body painted with foliate sprays, painted blue crossed swords mark to base, the base also bearing an old handwritten label ‘Old Meissen bought at Dresden November 1894’. 13cm(h)
