Curt Querner(1904 Börnchen - 1976 Kreischa) Nächtliches BörnchenIn expressivem Kolorit komponierte, nächtliche Dorfansicht mit hell erleuchteten Fenstern. In Motiv und Stil charakteristisches Blatt Querners, der ab 1926 an der Akademie in Dresden bei Richard Müller, Georg Lührig und Otto Dix studierte. Seine Motive, die er überwiegend zeichnerisch und als Aquarelle umsetzte, fand er in seiner Heimat - Landschaften aus dem Vorerzgebirge, dörfliche Motive seines Heimatortes Börnchen und städtische Motive aus den ärmlichen Vororten von Dresden. Heimat im wahrsten Sinne zu be-greifen und sie sich spielend anzueignen, galt als ein wichtiges heimatkundlich-pädagogisches Ziel, das von dem traditionell gefertigten Spielzeug-Erzeugnissen des Erzgebirges erfüllt werden konnte. (35.5cm.) high (hairline crack to right shoulder and ribbon on collar missing on tail and flowers a little damage)Condition Report - photos as requested - she has very light kiln specking to tip of nose.
