A WWII Second World War German Nazi Third Reich Luftwaffe Fallschirmjaeger award badge by Osam Dresden having a double leaf wreathed gilt eagle motif. The wreath having laurel leaves to one side and another type of leaf to the other side and the eagle in a swooping down position holding a swastika. To the reverse retaining it's pin & hook, the badge back having makers marks ' U.H. Osam Dresden '.The badge comes along with the original case. Measures; 5.5cm tall.

FAMILLE VERTE 'WATER BIRDS' CHARGER, KANGXI PEDRIOD, showing a kingfisher perched on a flowering plant on the edge of a pool, with further birds below, one perched on a rock and the other washing, the underside painted with landscape scenes, the base with a foliate mark, 34cm diam Provenance: Christie's 11th November 1985, lot 219. Note: this dish is rare in its open format without a border, which has more in common with famille verte narrative chargers of the period. A similar dish was extant at Clandon Park until it was stolen in 2010. Another is recorded in the Musee Guimet, Paris. The execution of painting can also be compared to a set of dishes in the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.

A near-identical figure at Burghley House is illustrated in Tharp, L., Hogarth's China, London 1997, fig.72; and for another from Hampton Court see Ayers, J., The Blanc de Chine Figure, Transactions of the Oriental Ceramic Society, vol.68 2003-4, fig.2, pg.16, also illustrated in Ayers, The Royal Collection, 2016, no.300.
