A Crown Dresden porcelain cabaret set, circa 1900, with panels of courting couples and floral sprays against a yellow ground, inscribed marks. CONDITION REPORT: The teapot lid has been broken and professionally restored. The interior of the lid is obviously oversprayed. The left hand side of the teapot when looking from above has a very tiny chip to the rim of the spout. The decoration throughout appears to be in good order. The knop to the lid of the cream jug has the gilding rubbed on all four corners and there is very light gild rubbing on each corner of the lid but it is otherwise intact. The cream pot itself is in good order throughout with no obvious faults. The handle attached to the cream pot leans slightly to the right, however, this may be to aid pouring.
A near pair of 19th century Derby figures modelled as the Dresden shepherd and his companion. Coloured in enamels and raised on moulded Rococo style bases. Crossed swords marks, 18cm (2).
