DRESDEN; three 20th century figures each depicting female musicians wearing crinoline type dresses, largest example height 25.5cm, width 25cm (3).Additional InformationThe larger group with losses to the floral encrusted detail and the dresses in part. There is also hairline cracks running through the base. Remains of glue on the single figure seated but does not appear that the figure has been broken off the plinth base, this looks like it is there from the manufacturing process, losses to the dress on this figure, each with losses to dresses.

A pair of Dresden porcelain demi-tasse cups, covers, and saucers, late 19th century, one with pink and white quartered ground decorated with figures, and an associated cover with yellow and white ground, the other with pale blue and white quartered ground decorated with figures, and a matching cover, blue underglazed crossed swords marks, each saucer 11cm, each cup and cover 7.5cm high. A 19th century two piece violin, after Stradivarius, Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno.17(26) cross over AS label, back 36cm, bridge stamped Dresden, ebony and silver mounted bow stamped JOACHIM, velvet fitted interior.By family repute; the violin came into the family when a relative went to Argentina c.1850 to assist with the building the national railway system, he met his future wife, an Italian lady there and she had the violin with her.Please see additional pictures added to the main listing.Outer top left lip (rim) missing/broken off (see additional picture) 3.5cm long , bottom right side top has become unglued from the side casing (3cm long) the top lip under the chin guard has slight cracking (either side) see picture, small nicks, staining, colour loss, surface wear & tear synonymous with age and usage.Length of back 36cm
