KRAUTWALD, JOSEPH (Borkenstadt / Oberschlesien 1914-2003 Rheine), Relief: "Hl. Paulus - 100 Jahre KAB Rheine 1981", Bronze, hellbraun patiniert und als Hochrelief in der charakteristischen, expressiv-blockhaften Manier des Rheinenser Künstlers gearbeitet, der bei Josef Thorak in München und Karl Albiker in Dresden studierte. Besonders sein Frühwerk war beeinflusst durch die Arbeiten von Käthe Kollwitz und Ernst Barlach. Darstellung des Hl. Paulus mit Buch und vertieften Schriftzügen. Der Katholische Arbeiterbund St. Paulus Rheine (Katholische Arbeitnehmer-Bewegung) wurde 1881 gegründet. H. 18 x B. 13,5 x T. 2,5 cm.

Besonders sein Frühwerk war beeinflusst durch die Arbeiten von Käthe Kollwitz und Ernst Barlach. Das Relief entstand nach Eindrücken, die der Künstler auf einer Reise nach Kathmandu gewonnen hatte. H. 14 x B. 12 x T. 2,5 cm und zweimal D. 7 cm und T, 1,5 cm.
