A Pair of prints on silk; portrait of a lady signed Margetson, and a full length kneeling lady in blue with balloon, 7½ ins x 5½ ins (19 cms x 14 cms) in glazed gilt ribbon crossed framed 12 ins x 10 ins (31 cms x 26 cms).

A Small Art Deco Silver & Enamel Clock hallmarked London 1928 with Collett & Anderson makers' punch. The Swiss made eight day clock mounted in a silver & turquoise blue guilloche enamelled frame suspended between barleytwist uprights rising from an enamelled plinth, and terminating on bun feet. 3¾ ins (9.5 cms) in height, 4¾ ins (12 cms) wide.
A Pair of Tall Art Nouveau Majolica Vases with gilt metal mounts, by Josef Strnact. The bodies having petalled rims and streaked green and dark blue drip glazes embellished with twin stalks of gilt metal sunflowers rising from the base. The undersides impressed with JS x mark and numbered 889, 20½ ins (52 cms) high.

Note: Patrick Phillips was Co-Principal of the Byam Shaw School of Art, Kensington, from 1946 to 1955. His work is held in a number of public collections including the Tate, London.

A highly comparable portrait of Wolmark painted by Ross is in the collection of the Ben Uri Gallery, London.
Gerard Mansell CBE, British 1921-2010- Still life with apple and wooden spoon; oil on canvas, signed with initials and dated 98, 40.6x55.8cm, (may be subject to Droit de Suite) Note: Gerard Mansell was born in Paris and educated in France before moving to London in the 1930s to study at the Chelsea School of Art. In 1951 he entered the BBC and went on to become its deputy director-general. Mansell was responsible for the launch of Radio 4 in 1967 and one of the most influential figures in the shaping of the modern radio network.
