* WILLIE RODGER RSA RGI (SCOTTISH b.1930), THE MILL, oil on board, signed 31cm x 46cm Framed Note: Titled on label verso. Note: Born in 1930, Willie Rodger studied at Glasgow School of Art then taught art in schools for many years, all the while painting and printmaking. Since leaving teaching in 1976 he has exhibited widely. He was the first printmaker to be awarded Associate of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1989, of the Royal Glasgow Institute in 1994 and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Stirling in 1999. Today he holds a reputation as Scotland's master printmaker as well as being an accomplished painter and designer of stained glass windows. In 2008 a major exhibition of the works of Willie Rodger was held at the University of Stirling.

* STEPHEN BARCLAY, WALLED CITY II oil on canvas 130cm x 160cm (approx 51 x 63 inches) Framed. Note : Stephen Barclay first came to prominence in the 1980s as one of the internationally acclaimed ``New Glasgow Boys". He studied at The Glasgow School of Art between 1980 - 1985 winning a 1983 Scholarship to study at Hospitalfield, Arbroath and the 1984 Adam Bruce Thomson Award. His paintings have been exhibited worldwide and are held in numerous major public and corporate collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Fleming Collection (London), The Deutsche Bank Collection, The Laing Art Gallery, The Cleveland Gallery, Bolton Museum & Gallery, Texaco Oil and The Gallery of Modern Art in Australia. Barclay's work very rarely appears at auction and although a few small sketches and studies have sold in recent years, "Walled City II" is the first major painting to be offered, anywhere.

* DAMIEN HIRST (BRITISH b 1965 - ), SHARK unique acrylic on card, signature verso with inscription and Damien Hirst blindstamp, dated 2009 50cm x 66cm Mounted, framed and under glass. Note: Damien Hirst's association with the shark goes back to 1991 when he created "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living." The work consists of a tiger shark preserved in formaldehyde in a vitrine. Originally commissioned by Charles Saatchi it was first exhibited in 1992 in the first series of "Young British Artists" shows and more recently at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

* ALEXANDER GOUDIE RP RGI (SCOTTISH 1933 - 2004), GWEN WITH JAVA DOVE oil on linen, signed 61cm x 61cm Framed. Note: An exceptional painting by Goudie of his daughter, Gwen, holding one of the Java doves which the family kept in an aviary at their home. Our thanks to Lachlan Goudie for authenticating this painting. Alexander Goudie was acknowledged to be a brilliant portraitist. His sitters included Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Lord Chancellor Lord Mackay of Clashfern, the comedian and actor Billy Connolly and a host of other figures drawn from the worlds of politics, commerce and entertainment. He was elected a member of the Glasgow Art Club in 1956 and a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in 1970. In 1979, he was the focus of a three part BBC Television series, entitled 'Portrait' Provenance: Private Glasgow collection.
