A good early 20th century Arts and Crafts style and period single oak Wardrobe; the cornice above an applied frieze legend: "If this be vanity who'd be wise"; the central mirrored door with Arts and Crafts copper strap-hinges and flanked by leaded windows with heart motifs, each side of the wardrobe with an adjustable hinged mirror, raised on stile feet, 107cm wide x 203cm high CONDITION REPORT: The wardrobe depth is 50cm from back of the cornice to the front of the cornice. Overall condition is generally good, the top left hand front on the return of the cornice has sustained a 2cm fillet away from it. There is scuffing and scratches commensurate with age. The right hand mirror door has an approx.. 4cm split down the back of the top. The mirrors look in reasonable condition although the left hand does have some distressing mostly top right. The sides appear in reasonable condition with no splits prevalent. The Art Nouveau hinges look quite good as do the leaded lights which look original. There has been a small repair to the oak moulding directly underneath the motto on the right hand side but this doesn't show too much.

A Finnigans Art Deco silver plated strut timepiece, with French 8 day movement, bevelled glass, the attractive honey coloured dial with classic Art Deco hands, signed 'Finnigans Paris, 8 Days, France', integral key, 12½ x 12½in. (31.7 x 31.7cm.), stamped to back, 'FRANCE DÈPOSÈ'.* Condition: Not working - movement will require work. Otherwise good with no other significant faults.
A pair of Art Deco yellow gold, jade, onyx and diamond button-style stud earrings, the circular mottled green jade within polished onyx surrounds, centred with a pierced star millegrain set with rose cut diamonds, 13mm. diameter. (2)* Condition: Some surface scratching to jade on both earrings, probably from contact with the diamonds whilst in a jewellery box. This is not unsightly but is clearly visible under a 10x lens. One small frit to edge of black surround on one earring. One black surround has a small blob of clear glue showing - there doesn't appear to have been a later repair to the earring, so this is probably from during the making.
