Sandon, Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790 New Edition, Barrie & Jenkins, 1989, illustration I.E.51, p 285. At the time this book was published only four examples of this very rare design were known; one in the Dyson Perrins Museum lacking the lower border and a second in the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery with a lower border close to no. 71 in the book. This example has a lower band matching the no. 70 border design in the book.
